I became a board member of Workshop Theatre in Calgary recently. During that meeting we discussed how there is a shortage of volunteers in the community. In my efforts to make the community better I have come up with an idea to engage volunteers with volunteering more. I presented my idea recently at our monthly meeting and it was a success. I am now lining up other theatre groups to present to. If they are on-board I’ll start working on my idea right away. Stay tuned, I’m about to drop the mic!
